Chair
Denita Pimienta is the Executive Director of Children Athletes & Artists Involved in Recreational Events (CAAIRE), a nonprofit youth development organization with a mission to have students use their artistic talents and athletic abilities to obtain higher education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication (Marketing and Public relations) and a master’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Organizational Management and Leadership. Denita currently lives in Central Florida and is a mom of two young adults in pursuit of, you guessed it - higher education.
Vice-Chair
Arantxa “Arie” Felix is a bilingual mental health advocate and Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families through culturally responsive, systemic care. Originally from the Bronx and now based in St. Cloud, Florida, she blends academic training with lived experience to uplift underserved communities. Arie is dedicated to creating safe, healing spaces where families can grow, connect, and thrive.
Vice-Chair
Summer Gott has a passion to help advocate, educate, and empower families to get the best care for their children. Enhancing communication between families and physicians by offering personal experience to provide effective tools to strengthen the relationship and bridge the gap for a better outcome for children and their needs.
Co-Secretary
Jessica Sprain is an Extension Agent with UF/IFAS Extension. She leads the 4-H Youth Development program in Osceola County. 4-H is the largest youth development organization that provides youth with community, mentors, and learning opportunities to develop the skills they need to create positive change in their lives and the community around them. Jessica hold’s a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Family, Youth and Community Sciences with an emphasis on Non-Profit Management.
Co-Secretary
Zeke is a former educator and facilitator working with the school board and other non-profit organizations for over 10 years. He is currently working with the FLITE Center - an Anti-Human Trafficking agency providing trauma-informed services for those affected by human and sex trafficking ages 10-24.
Membership
Lisa Jones is currently the Osceola Library System’s Youth Services Manager. She taught elementary school for a total of 25 years after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Monmouth University in New Jersey. Lisa has taught preschool to 4th grade and tutored students of all ages outside of school. Lisa graduated in 2009 with a Master's in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University. Prior to becoming the Youth Services Manager, Lisa was the Youth Services Librarian at the West Osceola Library for 6 years.
